We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets.
What is the job of a security guard?
He is responsible for protecting the company’s property for its employees by maintaining a safe environment, as well as monitoring signs of crime or disorder, investigating disturbances, and acting lawfully in direct defense of life or property. The job requires the ability to apply security procedures, monitor and report inappropriate movements.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises through various surveillance tools to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, or suspicious activities.
- Enforce access policies and procedures, verifying the identity of individuals and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect security threats, and respond promptly to incidents or alarms.
- Act swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, following established protocols for evacuations, medical emergencies, and other critical incidents.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with team members and relevant authorities, reporting incidents and maintaining accurate records.
- Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and information as needed while maintaining a courteous and vigilant demeanor.
- Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
