The cashier job or cashier profession is a vital and essential element in the work team of any facility that sells services or products to customers. The cashier is the last person customers deal with before leaving the place. The cashier stands at the points of sale, greets customers with a smile and a greeting, then records the products and their prices and takes payments from customers in cash or through cash machines.
As a cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service. You will handle payments, issue receipts, and assist customers with any inquiries related to their purchases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Assist customers with their purchases and provide information about products or services.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other electronic equipment, accurately handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
- Process transactions quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure the correct amount.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues with cash transactions.
- Arrange products and displays near the cashier for upselling or promotional purposes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transactions and customer interactions.
- Follow legal regulations and guidelines related to cash handling and transactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with cash registers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other related equipment.

Hostess / Waitress – female
We are looking for Hostess&Waitress who will be responsible for taking reservations, welcoming guests to the restaurant and handle cashiering.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests as they enter, seating guests at tables or in waiting areas.
- Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
- Assigning guests to tables
- Engaging with guests to ensure they’re happy with food and service.
- Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
- Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
- A knowledge of the menu.
- Control cash and card payment in restaurant.
- Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
- Follow all company policies regarding to service staff
- Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
- Providing great customer service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
- Does high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
- Restaurant experience a plus.
