About the role
Responsible to provide professional service to our Guests, ensuring their restaurant visit will become a memorable dining experience .Serve the food and beverages to the guest’s rooms in professional, discreet and personalized way and ensuring to provide excellent quality service as per Hotel standard operating procedure.
Key accountabilities include:
- Perform all necessary tasks to service Food & Beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the Hotel
- Greet all customers and serve them in a professional, discreet & personalized way
- Acquire in depth knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu of the assigned outlet in order to assist and provide advice to Guests
- Consistently monitor quality of Food & Beverage being served by taking regularly guest feedback and sharing the feedback to department head.
- Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints / queries satisfactorily
- Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet & upkeep of all service equipment
- Ensure guest payment details are dealt with as per the PCI requirements.
- Responsible for all service preparations before, during & after the service (mis-en-place & mis-en-scene)
- Actively use up selling techniques to exceed Guest expectations and increase revenue
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

Among the most important tasks of the server in the restaurant are the following:
Receiving customers and helping them choose the appropriate table.
Provide a list of available foods and beverages and provide detailed information about ingredients and potential food allergies.
Preparing and preparing the tables and ensuring the appropriate number of utensils, water bottles, and other dining table equipment.
Informing customers of the offers available for today.
Assist customers and provide menu recommendations upon request.
Participate in selling products when needed.
Get accurate food and drink orders, using point-of-sale ordering software or requesting coupons.
Communicate order details to kitchen staff.
Preparing and processing food and beverage orders.
Ensure that dishes and utensils are clean and sorted regularly.
