Security officers will work inside the building in an air-conditioned environment as well as in outdoor areas on a rotational basis. Duties include exposure to extreme temperature changes, as the situation requires.

Under the general direction and supervision of the Assistant Security Manager/Security Supervisor/Security Team Leader, is responsible for protecting resort property, employees and guests, and ensuring safety and security procedures are followed.

Main duties
Ensures that all activities adhere to and uphold the Fairmont & Raffles Doha Quality Management System.
The Security Officer must have knowledge of the management system of the Fairmont and Raffles Doha Hotel and the company’s mission, vision, guidelines and hallmarks and must follow them.
Be responsible for reporting any incidents or problems that could affect the fire, life, safety or security of Fairmont and Raffles Hotel guests, employees or company property
Familiar with all procedures related to fire prevention and evacuation
While in the Security Office, is responsible for the maintenance of files, key registration, issuance of keys, safe keeping, and cleanliness of the Security Office.
Conduct random employee checks to prevent the removal of resort ownership without the proper “Removal of Ownership Form.”
